Colour

Last weekend was a dye weekend. I took a one day workshop with Ursa of Gaia's Colours . A fun day spent learning different dye techniques including splatter/speckle/sprinkle, space dying, immersion and kettle dying.

    Very cool, Liz! Did you spin that yarn as well as dye it? It looks very knittable!

    It is very knittable, but I confess I didn't spin it. It was supplied as part of the class. It's 70% machine washable merino and 30% tencel.

    Ah! I'll have to chat with you about how the tencel soaks up dye compared to the wool.
