On the twelfth day of Christmas, the spinners pick up the distaffs (stick to hold the flax as it is being spun) and return to spinning. To celebrate the return to spinning, the Tzuhalem Spinners and Weavers Guild host an annual Distaff Day. Five of us went down to Duncan for the day and spun and chatted the day away. When I was younger, I would never have thought I would enjoy spending a day spinning with 50 other women.

Here's some photos of some of the show and tell items.
